Opteon™ SF33 specialty and two-phase direct-to-chip fluid is a proprietary hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) fluid targeted for use in liquid cooling, aerosol formulations, cleaning, and drying, and carrier fluid industrial solvent applications. In industrial solvent applications, Opteon™ SF33 can replace:
- Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs)
- Perfluoropolyethers (PFPEs)
- Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs)
- Hydrofluoroethers (HFEs)
Opteon™ SF33 is used in many military, aerospace, and semiconductor manufacturing industry applications. Typical uses for this nonflammable fluid include:

Opteon™ SF33 specialty and two-phase direct-to-chip fluid has zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a very low global warming potential (GWP) of 2. It is clear and colorless, with a low boiling point, 33 °C (91.4 °F).
Opteon™ SF33 is compatible with most metals, plastics, and elastomers. It does no damage if exposed to these materials.
